IT outsourcing
Outsourced QA and testing
A quality team independent of the team writing the code, which is where its value comes from.
In summary: manual and automated testing, release quality control and performance validation. The value of outsourcing quality comes precisely from independence of the development team.
There is a structural reason outsourcing QA works well: whoever writes the code is the worst person to test it, because they test what they had in mind while writing. An independent team tests what the user will do.
That also means the quality team must be able to say a release is not ready, and that view must carry weight. If it does not, the service produces reports rather than quality.
What is included
According to stack and delivery process.
- Manual functional testing against cases defined with you
- Regression test automation
- Integration and user interface testing
- Performance validation and load testing
- Accessibility testing against agreed criteria
- Defect reports with reproduction steps and severity
What is not included
So quality is not confused with development.
- Fixing the defects found, which belongs to the development team
- The final decision on whether a release ships, which is yours
- Security audit, a different service with different profiles
- A guarantee of no defects, which no test strategy can offer
Where it is delivered from
From Poland where synchronous coordination with your development team is needed, or from Uzbekistan where work is organised in delivery cycles.
In testing it is worth working on synthetic or pseudonymised data wherever possible. Testing against a production copy containing real personal data is a widespread practice and precisely the one that introduces the most unnecessary risk.
Frequently asked questions
Do you automate everything?
No, and be wary of anyone promising that. Automation pays off in regression and stable flows; for new functionality and exploration, manual testing finds what a script does not look for.
Who owns the automated tests?
You do, versioned in your repository alongside the code. A test suite living in the provider's system loses its value the day the contract ends.
Can you test against real data?
We would rather not. Synthetic or pseudonymised data covers most cases and avoids processing real personal data in environments that rarely have production controls.
What if you find a critical defect before a committed date?
We report it with its severity and reproduction steps. The decision to ship is yours, and our job is to make sure you take it with complete information.
