A useful proposal is one you can decide on. That means it has to be comparable with what doing it internally costs you today, and it has to say what is and is not included precisely enough for that comparison to be fair.
So our proposals break the cost down rather than giving a single figure, and they state expressly what falls outside scope. A flat rate with no breakdown is comfortable to read and impossible to compare.

Frequently asked questions
How long does a proposal take?
Five to ten working days from having the information we need. Where substantial information is missing we say so before starting rather than delivering a document full of assumptions.
Does requesting a proposal cost anything?
No. The proposal and the analysis behind it carry no cost and no obligation.
Why is there no rate card on the site?
Because cost depends on language, hours, volume, complexity and delivery model, and a published rate without those variables would be indicative to the point of being useless for deciding. On /precios we do publish the cost structure and the reference data with its sources.
Can I request a proposal to compare, without intending to change now?
Yes, and it is a legitimate reason. It is worth saying so, because a proposal for comparison and one for signing in six weeks are prepared at different levels of detail.
Is the proposal binding?
It sets out the terms we are offering and how long they stand. The contract is a separate, later document.
Do you respond to public sector tenders?
Yes. Say so when requesting it, along with the submission deadline, because the timetable and format are set by the tender documents rather than by us.
