The problem
The documentation required to invoice, from customs paperwork and certificates of conformity to batch records and free-zone export documentation, was assembled manually and frequently returned for correction, slowing order-to-cash. The plant was duplicating data entry across systems without anyone inside the plant seeing the full picture.
What we did
- Built a documentation-compliance workflow tuned to free-zone export requirements
- Removed duplicate data entry found across the plant's systems
- Took supplier onboarding and coordination in English and Spanish
- Delivered from Santiago, close to the free-zone manufacturing base
Results
Documentation error and rework fell sharply and invoicing cycle time shortened, with the team eliminating duplicate data entry the plant had not known existed. Full metrics for this engagement are in the downloadable portfolio.

The team found four places where we were typing the same data into different systems. Nobody inside the plant had ever seen the whole flow end to end.

The documentation-compliance workflow is now the plant's standard operating procedure, and the duplicate-entry findings drove a wider systems clean-up.
