The language context in Spain
In the Spanish public sector, support in a co-official language appears as a requirement in tender documents in autonomous communities with their own language, not as a scored improvement.
In the private sector it is not a general obligation, but it is a retention factor customers notice immediately, and one no approximate system disguises.
Where adaptation involves processing real customer conversations to build evaluation sets, the same regime applies as to any processing of personal data, including prior minimisation and, where appropriate, pseudonymisation.

Is a good multilingual model not enough?
For understanding, often yes. For answering with the register a Spanish customer expects, with correct administrative terminology and without out-of-context references, no. The difference is measurable, which is why we build specific evaluation sets.
Do you deliver co-official languages from Latin America?
No. Catalan, Basque and Galician are delivered from Spain with native speakers. Offering it any other way would be selling something we cannot stand behind.
Which models do you recommend for Spanish?
We do not recommend specific model providers on this site. The choice depends on the case, the data type and where it may be processed, and it is reasoned through in the proposal against verifiable criteria rather than a brand preference.
How is quality measured in a co-official language?
With evaluation sets built and reviewed by native speakers, on real cases from your operation. An evaluation by a non-native measures comprehensibility, not appropriateness.
