About the role
This role provides accounting and finance support to Spanish clients, with the precision and traceability an audit requires. You will work with Spanish accounting and tax rules.
What you will do
- Perform bank and account reconciliations with full traceability.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable per each client's processes.
- Support monthly and annual close.
- Prepare periodic financial reports for the client.
- Spot and flag discrepancies before they reach close.
What we need
- Qualification in accounting, finance, business administration or equivalent.
- Previous accounting or finance experience in a Spanish environment.
- Working knowledge of Spanish accounting and tax rules.
- Advanced spreadsheet skills and experience with an accounting ERP.
- Valid right to work in Spain.
Useful, but not essential
- Professional English.
- Experience in outsourcing or advisory environments.
- Knowledge of Spain's immediate VAT information supply system.
